WrestleMania goes Hollywood…. again. WrestleMania 39 will take place SoFi Stadium, outside of Los Angeles which is the sixth time the event has taken place in the Greater Los Angeles area.
This year’s Showcase of the Immortals will be hosted by WWE Superstar The Miz and will be split into two nights. For the first time in history, WWE founder and WrestleMania creator Vince McMahon will not head the creative direction of the show.
Originally, WrestleMania 37 was scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium, but due to the pandemic, the show was moved to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, which led to this year’s event in Hollywood. This is the first ‘Mania in the LA area since Wrestlemania 21 in 2005. Stars outside of the ring will appear during the event as DJ Valentino Khan will perform on both nights and Becky G will sing “America the Beautiful” on Night 1.
