The Road to Wrestlemania is making a quick stop in Saudi Arabia for WWE Elimination Chamber. This year’s event is the first Elimination Chamber to take place on a Saturday, outside of the United States, and the first of WWE’s traditional PPV events to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Created by WWE Superstar Triple H in 2002, the Elimination Chamber has become one of the wrestling promotion’s most gruesome matches over the years. The match combines elements of traditional WWE matches: staggered entrances of the Royal Rumble, the eliminations of Survivor Series, the cage structure of Hell in a Cell, and elements of WCW’s WarGames.
WWE has some of the best Elimination Chamber matches of years past available to watch on their YouTube page for free. Below are 5 previous matches the WWE Universe can check out.
- World Heavyweight Championship Opportunity Elimination Chamber Match – (WWE No Way Out 2008)
- WWE World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match – (WWE No Way Out 2009)
- Women’s Tag Team Championship Match – (WWE Elimination Chamber 2019)
