The Warriors lead the series, 1-0, heading into tonight’s Game 2 after Draymond Green and Buddy Hield shot lights out from three in Curry’s absence from a hamstring injury. The Warriors 99-88 win proved that the team could do more than enough to hold their own defensively against an intense Wolves team. Minnesota superstar Anthony Edwards dropped 23 points and got 14 boards in their Game 1 loss, but only scored a single point in the first half. The Timberwolves will have to capitalize on a Warriors team without Curry if they want to tie the series tonight. For the Warriors, another strong defensive outing could send the series back to the Bay Area with a two-game lead.
