The UFC returns to T-Mobile Arena for UFC 290: Volkanovski vs. Rodríguez which will feature a pivotal matchup in the Featherweight division. The 14-bout card will feature a UFC Featherweight Championship unification bout between Alexander “ The Great” Volkanovski and “El Pantera” Yair Rodriguez in the main event.
Volkanovski is 25-2 inside of the Octagon and is the current reigning UFC Featherweight Champion. He has 12 wins by knockout and is ranked as the second-best Pound-for-Pound fighter in the world. Fighting out of Australia, Volkanovski is coming off of a UFC Lightweight Championship defeat against Islam Makhachev at UFC 284, which took place in Perth, Australia.
Rodriguez is the reigning Interim Featherweight Champion and is 15-3 in the UFC. The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America tournament winner has 9 wins by knockout or submission. El Pantera won the title at UFC 284 which made him the second ever Mexicon-born UFC champion. This will be his first PPV main event.

When to Watch
The early prelims begin on Saturday, July 8, at 6:00 PM ET, with the prelims following at 8:00 PM ET, and the main card starting at 10:00 PM ET.
