The UFC returns to Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida for UFC 287: Pereira vs Adesanya 2. The UFC hasn’t had an event in Miami since 2003 but will be bringing a major card to the Sunshine State. Rivals Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya will headline in a Middleweight Championship bout and hometown hero Jorge Masvidal faces Gilbert Burns in the co-main event.
Masvidal and Adesanya are two of the most popular fighters to step inside the Octagon, with each headlining the two best-selling UFC PPVs of 2022. Masvidal will be fighting his first fight since UFC 272, in which he was defeated by Colby Covington. The Miami-born fighter, known as “Gamebred,” is on a 3-fight losing streak.
At 7-1, Pereira is the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion and is currently on a 7-fight winning streak. The 2022 Male Fighter of the Year dethroned Adesanya in the 5th round by TKO at UFC 281 for the championship. Adesanya, who is 23-2, had a 3-year reign as champion and is looking to regain his title on Saturday night.

The early prelims begin on Saturday, April 8, at 6:00 PM ET, with the prelims following at 8:00 PM ET, and the main card beginning at 10:00 PM ET.
