Ultimate Fighting Championship returns with a loaded 12-bout card for UFC 272: Covington vs. Masvidal. A welterweight battle between former best friends turned rivals Colby “Chaos” Covington and Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal will headline the event, live from T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Covington is the #1 ranked UFC Welterweight, and a former interim Welterweight champion, who has a career 16-3 record. He’s a former NCAA Division I All-American and will be looking to score a win against his former roommate, and  American Top Team training partner.

Masvidal has a career record of 35-15 and is the current UFC “BMF” Champion. Masivdave is one of the top 3 PPV draws in the promotion and holds the record for the fastest knockout in UFC history (:05).  The 2019 Breakthrough Fighter of the Year will be main eventing his fourth consecutive PPV. Like Covington, Masvidal has two of his losses against UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

The co-main event is a fight between top 5 Women’s strawweights Marina Rodriguez and Yan Xiaonan. Rodriguez is on a 3-fight win streak and looking to earn her first UFC title shot. Other notable names competing inside the Octagon at UFC 272 are Edson Barboza, Bryce Mitchell, Kevin Holland, and former NFL player Greg Hardy

When to Watch

Early prelims begin on Saturday, March 5, at 6:00 p.m. ET, prelims begin at 8 p.m. ET, with the main card beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
