Lin-Manuel Miranda is making his feature directorial debut with the new musical movie tick, tick…BOOM coming out this week, and you can stream it online. The film stars Academy Award Winner Andrew Garfield as Jonathan Larson, a creative musician living in New York City in the 1990s who dreams of more than working his current job at a diner.
The film is an adaptation of the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, who revolutionized theater as the creator of “Rent.” Along with Garfield, tick, tick… BOOM has an award-winning cast including Alexandra Shipp, Tony Award nominee Robin de Jesús, Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry, Vanessa Hudgens, and more.
