The 2025 WNBA season continues with a 29th year of action. Throughout the season, fans can watch all the action the court on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ION, and Amazon Prime Video.
The league has expanded to 13 teams with the addition of the Golden State Valkyries. With 44 games per team on the docket, the 2025 season will conclude on September 11, with the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup held from June 1 to July 1 and the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game live from Gainbridge Fieldhouse on July 19. When the 2025 WNBA Playoffs begin in October, fans will notice a huge change in the Finals. For the first time, the league is switching to best-of-seven format.
