The GOP heads to Miami for the third Republican presidential primary debate. Live from Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, NBC News will present the event with Lester Holt, Kristen Welker, and Hugh Hewitt serving as moderators.

Since the last debate, former Vice President Mike Pence has dropped out of the race. Pence may back another candidate as the race continues, as former President Donald Trump, who hasn’t attended either primary debate, continues to have a lead over his opponents. Trump won’t be in Miami but will hold a rally on debate night about 10 miles away in Hialeah.

During the second debate, seven candidates were on stage but heading into tonight’s event, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has raised the polling and donor threshold. To qualify for the debate in Vice City, candidates must have at 70,000 unique donors, and register at least 4% in two national polls or in one national and one early-state poll that meets the RNC’s requirements. Like the previous debates, candidates must pledge their support for whoever ends up winning the GOP nomination.

The following candidates are expected to take the stage in Miami:

  • Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis
  • North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum
  • Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
  • Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley
  • Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy
  • Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina
