The US Women’s National Team (USWNT) has returned to the field for the 2024 SheBelieves Cup Presented by Visa. The ninth edition of the tournament will feature four teams, with games taking place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and Lower.com Field in Columbus.
The USWMNT, who won the 2023 event, are looking to defend their title against a trifecta of worthy contenders: Japan, Brazil, and Canada. All four teams are ranked among FIFA’s top 10 in the world, but during last year’s event, Japan were runner-ups, with Brazil and Canada rounding out the final two spots, respectively.
This year’s tournament is a four-game format with Atlanta hosting two semifinal games (April 6) and the third place and championship game taking place in Ohio (April 9). The USWNT will face Japan and Canada will take on Brazil in the semifinal games as part of today’s SheBelieves Cup scheduled matchups.
