Tiger Woods makes his highly anticipated return to the golf course at the 2021 PNC Championship. Also known as the Father/Son Challenge, the PNC Championship is an annual golf tournament featuring two-player teams of PGA Tour and Champions Tour Golfer paired with their sons, and sometimes daughters. Tiger will be playing in his first golf tournament since his car accident and he’ll be joining his son Charlie— the duo finished 7th at the 2020 PNC Championship.
Established in 1995, the Father-Son Challenge has been a popular event for golf fans. The winners of the two-day, 36 holes-competition are awarded the Willie Park Trophy, in memory of the father and son British Open champions Willie Park Sr. and Willie Park Jr. This will be the 25th edition of the event and it will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, which has been the event’s home since 2002.
20 teams will compete on the 7,106-yard course for a total purse of $1,085,000. 2020 winners Justin & Mike Thomas will be joining Team Woods in Orlando for a chance to win back-to-back championships. Below is the full lineup of the teams that will be competing in the 2021 PNC Championship:
