You can watch the Democratic debate on December 19th at 8pm Eastern on your Roku and Fire TV or at their site at http://www.nbcnews.com/ with your web browser.

Also please note that this debate is on NBC. Most Americans should be able to watch it for free with a antenna. If you live in a area with poor OTA or are over seas here are some options to stream the debate:

Channel Pear

Channel Pear is a great channel on your Roku that allows you to put live streams from around the web on your Roku. Because NBCis making a legal free feed available on their site you should be able to use Channel Pear to stream it on your Roku.

You should be able to find a NBC feed in their channel store or create your own feed by linking to the NBC feed after it goes live in the create a private channel option.

Firefox

The Firefox channel on your Roku will allow you to cast the stream from http://www.nbcnews.com/ to your Roku.

Nowhere Man

This is a great unlisted Roku Channel that takes legally free streams from websites and puts it up on their service. While you cannot manually add a feed like with Channel Pear, they will likely have the NBC feed available for you.

How to watch the Democratic Presidential Debate on Your Fire TV:

Channel Pear:

Channel Pear is a great channel on your Fire TV that allows you to put live streams from around the web on your Roku. Because NBC is making a legal free feed available on their site you should be able to use Channel Pear to stream it on your Fire TV.

You should be able to find a NBC feed in their channel store or create your own feed by linking to the NBC feed after it goes live in the create a private channel option.

If you are in your car or just want audio coverage of breaking news check out the TuneIn app. They have a live stream of the NBC audio feed.
