The road to the 2024 Presidential Election begins with the first CNN Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The pair’s first debate of this election cycle will only have two commercial breaks during its 90-minute runtime and can be streamed live on Max.

Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the debate live from CNN Studios in Atlanta. Departing from recent years, there will not be a studio audience. Moderators can mute each candidate’s microphone to limit interruptions and there will not be any opening statements. Also, to make tonight’s debate seamless, Biden and Trump will have two minutes to answer each question, one minute for rebuttals, and another minute to respond to the rebuttals.
