The BET Awards return for the 23rd edition live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. This year’s ceremony coincides with the 50-year anniversary of Hip Hop. Heading into the award show, Drake leads all with 7 nominations, followed by GloRilla’s 6, and 21 Savage and Lizzo are tied for third with 5.
Plenty of the culture’s biggest names will be performing at this year’s ceremony, including Coco Jones, Doechii, GloRilla, Lil Uzi Vert, and a Hip Hop 50 Medley featuring 69 Boyz, Big Daddy Kane, Chief Keef, DJ Unk, E-40, Fast Life Yungstaz, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Kid ‘n Play, Master P, MC Lyte, Remy Ma, Soulja Boy, The Sugarhill Gang, Trick Daddy, Trina, Tyga, Uncle Luke, Warren G, Ying Yang Twins, and Yo-Yo.
