golf ball about to go into hole

One of the biggest weeks in professional golf has arrived as NBC Sports presents the 2025 U.S. Open, with featured rounds streaming live on Peacock. The four-day tournament will be held at Oakmont Country Club, with 156 players competing for their chance at glory. This makes the 10th time the USGA has chosen the course in Pennsylvania to host the tournament, which is a record, and it’s scheduled to return in 2033, 2042, and 2049.

Notable players competing in the 125th edition of the tournament include Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Ludvig Aberg, and numerous others, who are teeing off to walk away with the winner’s share of $4.3 million of the $21.5 million purse.

The third of the four major golf championships looks to be an exciting tournament, and here’s how to watch the action live on the green
