The 78th Annual Tony Awards are set to return to the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 8, 2025, celebrating the best of Broadway’s 2024–2025 season. Hosted by Cynthia Erivo, the ceremony will feature live performances, historic reunions, and a full presentation of awards across all categories.
This year’s show will also include a special pre-show event hosted by Darren Criss and Renée Elise Goldsberry, streaming for free on Pluto TV.

Performers and Special Appearances
The 78th Annual Tony Awards will feature performances from Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, Death Becomes Her, Floyd Collins, Gypsy, Maybe Happy Ending, Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical, Pirates! The Penzance Musical, Sunset Blvd., Just In Time, and Real Women Have Curves.
The show will also include a special appearance by the Broadway Inspirational Voices and a 10-year reunion performance by the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Leslie Odom Jr., Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, and Phillipa Soo.
Notable Honors and Awards
Special Tony Awards will be presented to the band of Buena Vista Social Club and the illusions team of Stranger Things: The First Shadow. Harvey Fierstein will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Celia Keenan-Bolger will be honored with the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award. Additional 2025 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre will go to Great Performances, Michael Price, New 42, and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
