One of baseball’s most exciting nights has arrived as eight of the MLB’s best sluggers will compete in the 2024 Home Run Derby. Live on ESPN+, tonight’s derby will be held at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.

Fans will notice a change in this year’s Home Run Derby as there won’t be a bracket like usual. All eight sluggers will get the same number of hits in the first round with the top four with the most advancing to the semifinal round. The semifinals will revert to a traditional bracket with seeding determined by the number of home runs each batter had in the first round.
