The future of the NBA will take centerstage during the 2023 NBA Draft. Live from the Barclays Center, 58 prospects will hear their names called as they begin their journey into their professional careers.

The San Antonio Spurs won the draft lottery and will have the first overall pick which many think they’ll use to select French prospect Victor Wembanyama. Also known as “Wemby,” many are saying that he’s a generational prospect and could be the best NBA player since LeBron James. Thanks to his unique skillset, the 19-year-old is 7 ft 3 in and has an 8 ft wingspan. His durability will be questioned due to his frame, however, he has a solid 3-point shot, and handle, and the ability to score in the paint.

The Charlotte Hornets have the No. 2 pick and their decision will have a ripple effect throughout the night. Scoot Henderson is a 19-year-old point guard from Georgia, who plays for the G-League Ignite, and was the consensus second-best player in the draft. However, mock drafts have shown that he may not be a good fit with Charlotte’s PG LaMelo Ball, but a two-guard system could be worth trying for the Hornets. If not, the Purple & Teal may use their pick for PF Brandon Miller out of Alabama, or trade it, with rumors that the Pelicans are interested in moving Zion Williamson.

Trades will be made, and stars may be moved, but cord cutters will not want to miss out on all of the storylines by finding out how to watch the 2023 NBA Draft, below.
