This year’s race will feature fan-favorite Forte, who has won six of seven career starts. As the Kentucky Derby qualifying points leader, Forte will be competing against other former race winners: Practical Move (2023 Santa Anita Derby), Angel of Empire (2023 Arkansas Derby), Tapit Trice (2023 Blue Grass Stakes), and Derma Sotogake (2023 UAE Derby).
