How to Watch SummerSlam 2021 Without Cable on August 21

The biggest event of the summer will make its long-awaited return as WWE presents SummerSlam live from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, a suburb of Las Vegas, Nevada. In what has been dubbed as “The Biggest Party of the Summer,” SummerSlam is one of WWE’s Big Four pay-per-views and the biggest show following WrestleMania.

This year’s show will be different from previous ones as it will be the first SummerSlam to air live on a Saturday. The 1992 event was the last one to be held on a Saturday but it did not air until Sunday. Coincidentally, the ‘92 event was also the last one to be held at a football stadium.

In what the company has titled the “Summer of Cena,” right off the heels of “The Suicide Squad,” John Cena will be making his in-ring return for the first time on a WWE pay-per-view since WrestleMania 36. Cena will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, if Cena wins, he will set the record for most world championships with 17.

Another big match includes the in-ring return of WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg as he challenges WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in what is sure to be a physical contest. The show will also feature long-term storytelling with a match that’s 7-years in the making when WWE Hall of Famer Edge takes on Seth Rollins.

The 2020 event did not have the WWE Universe in attendance due to the pandemic; however, this year’s event will have over 44,000 fans to cheer on their favorite WWE Superstars. For those that cannot be in attendance, cord cutters can find out how to watch SummerSlam 2021 without cable, below.
