The 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs continue as the Vegas Golden Knights (P1) and Dallas Stars (C2) head into the Western Conference Finals.
Founded in 2017, the Knights are one of the most successful expansion teams within their first 6 seasons in the history of the NHL. In their inaugural season, the Knights won the Western Conference but fell short of a Stanley Cup title. Now, they’re back in the conference finals, after finishing their regular season campaign 51-22 and securing their third Pacific Division title. With a 4-1 series win over the Winnipeg Jets in the opening round and a 4-1 series win over the Edmonton Oilers, the Knights will have to duel it out against a tough Dallas team if they want to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals.
After going 47-21 in the regular season, the Stars ended up in second place in the Central Division. In the opening round, they tamed the Minnesota Wild, 4-2, and then won a thrilling second-round series against the Seattle Kraken, 4-3. Heading into the series, the Stars and Knights have played 20 times with them splitting the head-to-head matchups with 10 wins, which makes this the ultimate series for bragging rights.
The American Airlines Center and T-Mobile Arena will host the series but if cannot attend the games, you can find out how to watch the 2023 Western Conference Finals without cable, below.
