The PGA Tour heads to Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas with the 2022 World Golf Classic Dell Technologies Match Play. 64 of the best golfers in the world will compete at the event with last year’s winner Billy Horschel defending his title against notable golfers: Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, and 2021 runner-up Scottie Scheffler.
Established in 1999, WGC Match Play has taken place in Austin since 2016. Golfers compete for a chance to win the Wedgwood trophy named the Walter Hagen Cup. This year’s purse is 12 million with a winner’s share of 2.1 million.
