The 2024 PGA Tour heads to the Sunshine State for the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. Since 1972, South Florida has been the home of the four-day tournament and this year’s event returns to the PGA National Resort & Spa (Champion Course). Since 1982, the event was known as The Honda Classic but in late 2023, Cognizant was named the new title sponsor with this being the first event under their name.
A few of golf’s heavy hitters will be teeing off in Palm Beach live on Peacock, including Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Chris Kirk, Rickie Fowler, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry, Matt Kuchar, Justin Rose, and Gary Woodland. Kirk won the 2023 event and is looking to join the elite company as the fifth golfer to win the event twice and the first one to win consecutively. With a purse of $9 million, the winner of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches will exit with a share of $1.62 million.
