The 2023 PGA Tour heads to TPC Scottsdale for the 2023 WM Phoenix Open. Known as “The Greatest Show on Grass,” the event is one of the most popular tournaments on the tour. Players will compete for a winner’s share of $3.6 million of the $20 million purse.
2022 winner Scottie Scheffler will return for this year’s event and he’ll be looking to become the first golfer to win in consecutive years since Hideki Matsuyama in 2016 and 2017. Only three other players have accomplished winning in consecutive years, but Arnold Palmer’s the only person to win the event three years in a row (1961-1963).
