The PGA Tour returns to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina as the world’s best golfers compete at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship. They’ll be competing for the $3.6 million winner’s share of the $20 million purse.
Established in 2003, the Wells Fargo Championship is one of the PGA Tour’s most celebrated tournaments. Holes 16 through 18 have earned the nickname “The Green Mile,” as they are among the hardest of any course on the tour.
2022 winner Max Homa is returning to defend his crown, and he’s one of two players to win the event at least twice. Homa secured his first victory in 2019; Rory McIlroy is the only 3-time winner, winning the event in 2010, 2015, and 2021.
