Quack, quack, quack… the story of the Mighty Ducks will be examined in the latest E60 from ESPN, ‘Once Upon a Time in Anaheim.’

The special will take a deep dive into The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, a former NHL team that was based on a Disney film of the same name, which is now known as the Anaheim Ducks.

Once Upon a Time in Anaheim (an E60 Duck-Umentary) will tell the story of how screenwriter Steven Brill created the script and the idea of the film and how former Disney figurehead Michael Eisner stepped in to create the NHL team after the financial success of the film. Joining Brill and Eisner in the special are former Ducks Paul Kariya, Teemu Selanne, Jean-Sébastien Giguèr, Steve Rucchin, Guy Hebert, and Stu “The Grim Reaper” Grimson.
