The Longhorns have made their return to the Big 12 Championship Game for the first time since 2018, in what will be their last year in the conference before bolting to the SEC next season. Texas is hotter than the burnt orange in their insignia as they are on a six-game winning streak and coming off of a 50-point victory over Texas Tech. The Cowboys have won seven of their last eight and are making their first appearance in the Big Ten Championship Game since 2021. The Cowboys reigned supreme the last time these teams met in 2022, with a 41-34 victory.
