The NBA’s doubleheader returns to ESPN with two pivotal games in the playoff race. Nikola Jokic and the 40-28 Nuggets travel to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Joel Embiid and the 41-25 76ers. Both big men are MVP favorites and this game could be the difference-maker in the race. The Sixers came out on top when these two teams met in Denver earlier this year.

The 42-25 Jazz welcome the 42-26 Bucks to Salt Lake City in the late game. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Rudy Gobert will go head-to-head in another battle of the bigs. Antetokounmpo is tied for most PPG and is looking to make a statement tonight to supplant his name in MVP conversations.

The NBA returns to ESPN for an interconference doubleheader. In the early game, Luka Doncic and the 42-26 Mavericks travel to the Big Apple to take on Kevin Durant and the 36-33 Nets. Kyrie Irving and Durant are playing on another level after becoming the first teammates to have back-to-back games of 50 points or more. The Nets can only go as far as their two stars can carry them but they will be without Kyrie tonight, which means Durant will have to outplay Luka in what is sure to be an exciting game.

Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Steph Curry look to extend their 4-game winning streak tonight when the 47-22 Warriors host the 41-28 Celtics in tonight’s late game. Both teams have won 4 of their last 5, with the Celtics coming off a home loss against the Mavericks on Sunday.

With only one game tonight, NBA TV will be home to two of the bottom three teams in the Eastern Conference. The 18-51 Pistons travel to the Sunshine State to take on the 18-52 Magic. The Pistons are on a 4-game losing streak but are looking to get lucky on St. Patrick’s Day by ending their season series with the Magic with a win. The Magic are 1-2 against Detriot this season and are 3-2 over their last 5, with their most recent game being a 150-108 blowout against the Nets.

Ja’s Grizzlies are on a 4-game winning streak and demolished the Hawks in their last matchup 132-100. The Hawks are 10th in the Eastern Conference and will need a win tonight to stay within play-in contention.

The late game is a possible Finals preview between the 41-28 Bulls and the 56-14 Suns. The Suns are the best team in the NBA and the defending Western Conference champions, who won their first matchup in the Windy City 127-124. The Bulls are still dealing with injuries for Lonzo Ball and Patrick Williams, which means they’ll need all hands on deck for tonight’s game.
