Tonight’s game is the first game of the newly established 12-team CFP, as a new national champion will be crowned. Only 200 miles separate these two Indiana titans. The first time these schools took the field against each other was in November 1898, and their last matchup was in September 1991. The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series 23-5-1, with the Hoosiers’ last win coming in 1950. This first-round matchup will be the biggest game in their century-old rivalry.
