How to watch the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Note: This article will be updated once COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted and schedules come out.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards has been a fixture of kid’s entertainment for over three decades. The event gives kids across America a voice in celebrating their favorite actors, musicians, shows, movies, and more. Winners receive the iconic Nickelodeon orange blimp trophy.

Not only does the Nickelodeon Kids’Choice Awards broadcast live on Nickelodeon, but it is also simulcast on other Nick channels, including Nick Jr., Nicktoons, and TeenNick. The event also broadcasts via the Nick 2 feed on digital cable.

Where is the 2020 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards?

The 2020 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards was slated to take place in Inglewood, California. The awards show was originally scheduled to air on March 22, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the date is undetermined until further notice.

Live TV streaming services for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Whether you’re a cord-cutter or searching for an online alternative to watch the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, there are plenty of ways to stream the event live. Streaming services that carry Nickelodeon include AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, Philo, and Sling TV.

AT&T TV NOW costs $65/mo. after a 7-day free trial. With this service, you’ll be able to stream the awards ceremony via Nickelodeon or Nick Jr. AT&T TV NOW permits up to 3 simultaneous streams, which works well for larger households. And if you want to record the event, you can do so with AT&T TV NOW’s DVR storage feature, which gives you 500 hours of space.

fuboTV grants you 7 days to try the service for free, and then its plans start at $54.99/mo. The service features Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., NickMusic, Nicktoons, and TeenNick. With fuboTV you can stream on up to 2 screens simultaneously. If this isn’t enough, you can opt to pay an extra $5/mo. for the Family Share feature, which will give you 3 screens. fuboTV also comes with 30 hours of DVR storage, which you can upgrade to 500 hours for $9.99/mo.

Philo is the cheapest service on our list at $20/mo. It has a free 7-day trial period. Philo has the works when it comes to Nick channels, including Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, and TeenNick. Watching the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards with friends is no problem with Philo, as you can stream on up to 3 devices simultaneously. You’ll also have unlimited storage for 30 days giving you plenty of time to catch up on saved content.

Sling TV Blue costs $30/mo, and Sling Orange + Blue will set you back $45/mo. Nick Jr. is the only Nick channel available on Sling TV Blue. In fact, Sling TV Orange doesn’t offer Nickelodeon or any of its sister networks that simulcast the event. Sling TV Orange + Blue also provides coverage as it combines the Orange and Blue plans. You can upgrade both plans with extra channels and features, such as the $5/mo. Kids Extra add-on featuring Nicktoons and TeenNick.

Sling TV Blue allows you to watch on 3 screens concurrently. The Sling TV Orange + Blue plan takes it a step further, providing up to 4 simultaneously screens. All Sling TV packages come standard with 10 hours of DVR coverage. And if 10 hours isn’t enough, you can upgrade to 50 hours for an additional $5/mo. Sling TV gives new subscribers a $10 discount on the first month of service.
