Video streaming services enable cord cutters to watch live TV channels online without having to sign up for expensive, long-term cable contracts. This is especially the case for sports fans, who can watch their favorite teams’ live games online from the comfort of their sofa or on-the-go on their mobile devices. NBA fans, in particular, can catch all the live games from their local area and across the country via various streaming services.

This article will explore the NBA options that specific online streaming service fuboTV provides to customers. It will advise cord cutters of the NBA games available on fuboTV and how to watch them.

fuboTV provides a channel lineup that is among the largest available in the live streaming marketplace. It gives viewers a choice of more than 90 channels, covering everything from entertainment, kids’ TV, and lifestyle to news and sports. It is compatible with Android and Apple mobile phones and tablets as well as web browsers for laptop and PC users. Subscribers can also watch on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku streaming devices, as well as Android and Samsung smart TVs. However, the service is not compatible with Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox gaming consoles, nor LG or VIZIO smart TVs.

fuboTV subscribers can watch the service via 2 simultaneous streams, with a 3rd available for an additional $5.99/mo. It also enables viewers to store up to 30 hours of content on its Cloud Digital Video Recorder (DVR) feature, which also enables them to record episodes of a specific series. This is ideal for viewers who miss a live game, as they can record to watch at a later date. The DVR service can be extended to 500 hours of space with the fuboTV Advanced DVR for an additional $10/mo.

Can I stream every NBA game on fuboTV?

Nationally televised broadcasts vs. local market availability

Nationally televised broadcasts of NBA games are shared between ABC, ESPN, and TNT. NBA fuboTV channel options include ABC and ESPN, but TNT is not available to subscribers. Games chosen for broadcast on national networks are exclusive to these channels and will not be available via networks that stream games in local markets. These national networks will also be the places to watch NBA Playoff and NBA Finals games.

The most popular way for NBA fans to watch their favorite team in action is through regional sports networks (RSNs), which are primarily shared between FOX Sports and NBC Sports. However, despite carrying FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 channels, FOX Sports RSNs are not available to watch the NBA on fuboTV. The service does carry NBC Sports, MSG, and AT&T SportsNet Southwest. As a result, fuboTV subscribers can watch live games from 9 of the 30 NBA teams.

NBA extras

Another way to watch the NBA on fubo TV is to purchase the fuboTV Sports Plus package for an additional $11/mo. The add on package includes access to NBA TV, which carries around 90 regular-season games, which are subject to local blackout restrictions, as well as analysis shows and documentaries. In addition to NBA TV, the package also unlocks MLB Network, NFL RedZone, and NHL Network.

fuboTV does not provide an option for subscribers to access NBA League Pass through the service, unlike its rival YouTube TV. Head here for a comprehensive review of the best streaming services currently available.

Streaming your favorite NBA teams

fuboTV enables subscribers to tune into live games of their local teams through RSNs. This includes all live games broadcast on NBS Sports RSNs, as well as New York Knicks games on MSG and Houston Rockets games on AT&T SportsNet Southwest. However, it does lack FOX Sports RSNs, as well as Brooklyn Nets games, which are broadcast on YES Network, Denver Nuggets games, which are exclusively aired on Altitude, Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz games, which are only available through AT&T Sports Net, and LA Clippers games, which are carried by FOX Sports Prime Ticket. The final cut

fuboTV provides a range of options for subscribers to watch NBA action. Its channel selection includes nationally broadcast NBA games on ABC and ESPN, as well as local market games on NBC Sports, MSG, and AT&T SportsNet Southwest.

However, there are significant omissions from fuboTV’s channel lineup that restrict basketball fans’ options. Nationally broadcast games on TNT are not available to fuboTV subscribers. While the service also does not carry FOX Sports RSNs, which are home to 15 of the 30 NBA teams’ games in local markets.

fuboTV is available for $54.99/mo. However, it enables new customers to try its service out before they buy it with a 7-day free trial, which is perfect for testing the service out. Another option for NBA fans to stream sports is by using an antenna like HDHomeRun, which enables them to watch live local channels on their TV.
