Week 24 of the 2021 MLB regular season starts today with a loaded lineup of nationally televised games. ESPN, ESPN+, MLBN, FOX, YouTube, TBS, and FS1 will be the home of this week’s national games, with various regional sports networks providing the local broadcasts. FS1 will be the home of an NL East matchup between the Marlins and Mets. The series is split 6-6 between both clubs with tonight’s game being the rubber match. Mets fans have been upset with the team’s play over the last month as the franchise has fallen from first place in the division to third with a 69-69 record.

This week’s MLB Game of the Week on YouTube will be an AL West matchup between the Astros and Mariners. The Astros are currently in first place of the division with a 5-game lead over the Mariners. This will be a rematch of Tuesday’s game and heading into week 24, the Astros lead the season series 10-7.

Two American League stalwarts will be showcased on ESPN+ when the Athletics host the White Sox. The White Sox lead the season series 3-1 entering week 24 but the A’s won their last matchup. Both teams are looking to keep their playoff hopes alive with the Sox attempting to secure their division and the A’s vying for a wildcard berth.
