Heading into Sunday’s street circuit race, 2021 INDYCAR champion Alex Palou (219 pts) leads the 2023 points standings through six races. Marcus Ericsson (199 pts) and Pato O’Ward (185 pts) are currently in second and third place, respectively, heading into Motor City. After coming off his first Indy 500 win last week, two-time series champion Josef Newgarden is in fourth place with 182 pts.
