Week 5 of the college football season continues and NBC Sports has live coverage on Peacock with a doubleheader of games featuring Big Ten foes. In the early matchup, Illinois travels to Purdue in what should be an exciting game between a pair of midwestern rivals. The Iowa Hawkeyes will host the Michigan State Spartans in the late game.

The Fighting Illini are coming off a heart-racing victory over Florida Atlantic that ended 23-17 in dramatic fashion. QB Luke Atlmyer slung the pigskin all over the field on his way to 303 yards in the air and two touchdowns (one rushing and one passing). WR Isaiah Williams continued to show the world why he’s one of the best receivers in the Big Ten as his 333 receiving yards are second most in the conference and he had 8 catches for 120 yards against FAU.

Purdue’s defense will be looking to slow down Illinois after the Boilermakers are coming off a 38-17 loss against the Wisconsin Badgers. RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. racked up 84 yards on the ground and saw the endzone once during the contest. Purdue’s air attack will look to extend its momentum as QB Hudson Card currently ranks third in the conference with 1,027 passing yards.

Iowa will be looking to bounce back after suffering a 31-0 shutout against Penn State last week. The Hawkeyes suffered their first defeat of the season and will have to turn things around against a Michigan State Spartans squad that fell to Maryland, 31-9, last week.

Saturday’s football coverage continues a busy weekend for NBC Sports and Peacock, which is also streaming the Ryder Cup, and cord cutters can find out how to watch that and much more, below.
