Live from Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, the 2023 Capital One Orange Bowl will feature No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs (12-1) taking on No. 4 Florida State Seminoles (13-0).

These two programs are meeting for the 12th time with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series 6-4-1. As the ACC Champions, FSU ran the table but was unable to secure a spot in the 2024 College Football Playoffs. With an injury to starting QB Jordan Travis, the committee didn’t grant the Seminoles a spot even though they won a Power 5 Conference.

As for the Bulldogs, they are the current two-time defending national champions, but due to their loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship game that ended their 29-game winning streak, the committee dropped them to 6 and out of the CFP. Heading into the Orange Bowl, the Bulldogs are the favorites to win even with numerous players opting out.
