The latest installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise is racing to a screen near you as Fast X is now available on VOD.
Directed by Louis Leterrier, the 10th installment sees the return of Dominic Torrretto (Vin Diesel) who has to protect his family from Dante Reyes (Jason Mamoa) a foe from his past. Mamoa and Diesel are joined by an ensemble cast of returning stars including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Daniela Melchior, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, Jason Statham, Jason Momoa, and Charlize Theron. Brie Larson and Alan Ritchson join Mamoa as the newest edition to the franchise.
Fast X was originally scheduled to be a two-part film, however, it was later announced that it’ll be a trilogy that’ll end the main Fast saga, with the next film expected to be released in 2025. Like the fast cars in the film, the movie has hit the NOS on its way up at the box office after grossing $630 million worldwide, making it the fourth highest-grossing film of the year, and it was shot on a budget of $340 million.
