Formula 1 makes its long-awaited return to the United States with the second annual Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.
Today’s race is the first of three to be held in the US in 2023, and the Miami International Autodrome, which was built inside of the Miami Dolphins Hard Rock Stadium will host the event. The Autodrome is a 19-turn, 3.4-mile circuit with an average speed of around 140 mph.
Max Verstappen won the race in 2022 with a time of 1:31.361 in his Red Bull Racing RB18. This year, F1 drivers will be looking to overtake Verstappen as the champion of Miami and beat his time, which is the record for the track.
