FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches return this week with 8 teams competing in the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).

2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup winner the United States, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, and Costa Rica make up the final 8 teams, who will be competing for a bid the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.  The top 3 teams will be going to Qatar for the World Cup, and the 4th placed team to a single-leg FIFA Intercontinental Playoff, scheduled to be played in Qatar, in June 2022.
