NBA TV will be the home of tonight’s only nationally televised game when LaMelo Ball and the 21-19 Charlotte Hornets host the reigning and defending NBA champion 26-16 Milwaukee Buck in an Eastern Conference matchup. The Hornets are coming off an impressive 114-106 win against the Bucks at the Spectrum Center on Saturday. Reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo had 43 points during Saturday’s contest but that wasn’t enough to stop Hornets SG Terry Rozier, who had 28, and SF Miles Bridges, who scored 21 points. The Hornets were in foul trouble trying to stop Giannis and they’ll need all hands on deck if they want to beat Milwaukee twice in 3 days.

Coming off of one the most spectacular blocks in NBA history, Ja Morant and the 28-14 Grizzlies will host the Splash Brothers (Klay Thompson and Steph Curry) in their first road game together in over 900 days in tonight’s first national games. The Grizzlies are on a 9-game winning streak, the longest in the NBA, and they’ll have to go shot-for-shot with the Warriors if they want to win tonight.

The national late game is a showdown between two evenly matched 20-18 Nuggets and the 20-21 Clippers at Crypto.com Arena. Both teams have had disappointing seasons so far. The Clippers have been without NBA All-Star Kawhi Leonard all season and have been led by All-Star Paul George, who hasn’t been playing up to expectations. Reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets are on a 2-game win streak and will be looking to extend it tonight. Jokic had 26 points and 22 rebounds when the Nuggets defeated the Clippers 103-100 back in December.

Doncic is coming off a 22 point, 14 rebounds, and 14 assist game in a 113-99 victory over the Bulls.

The late game will be an Eastern Conference affair when the conference’s top-2 teams square off. NBA on TNT returns with an exciting Thursday night doubleheader. In a possible NBA Finals preview, the 26-17 Bucks welcome the 30-10 Warriors to Cream City in the early game. The Bucks are the reigning and defending NBA champs but have lost 4 of their last 5 and are coming off back-to-back losses against the Charlotte Hornets. If they want to get back on track, it’ll take a defensive effort to slow down the shooting duo of Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.

The late game will be the rubber match between the 16-24 Trail Blazers and the 20-19 Nuggets in the Mile High City. Portland will be without 6-time NBA All-Star PG Damian Lillard, who is currently recovering from surgery after addressing a lingering abdominal injury. Lillard is expected to miss at least 6 to 8 weeks and Rip City will need a full team effort if they want to leave Denver with a victory tonight.
