If you are a fan of Big Ten football you may need a new cable provider this fall. Comcast is reportedly about to drop the Big Ten Network on August 31st at midnight when their current deal ends. According to reports, both sides are working on a deal but a blackout is looking likely right now.

The good news is you don’t need Comcast to get the Big Ten Network. There are tons of streaming services that offer the Big Ten Network without a cable subscription.

Almost every live TV streaming service offers the Big Ten Network. Hulu, PlayStation Vue, YouTube TVfuboTV, and DIRECTV NOW all offer the Big Ten Network.

Here are the cheapest options:


fuboTV has Big Ten Network for $39.99 a month for the first month—a great deal to test out their live TV streaming service.


Hulu also has the Big Ten Network among others. If you already have Hulu, you can add their live TV service for just $32 a month.

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue starts at $45.99 and the Big Ten Network depending on where you live.

PlayStation Vue also offers a 5-day free trial allowing you to test the service before you pay for it.

YouTube TV

If you live in a market with YouTube TV you can get the Big Ten Network starting at $39.99.


If you are an AT&T Unlimited customer, you can get DIRECTV NOW for as little as $20 a month. (Typically $35 a month.)

DIRECTV NOW offers a 7-day free trial allowing you to test the service out before you pay for it.
