Apple TV+ is giving customers three months of free service with the purchase of Apple One or a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac.
The Apple TV+ subscription can be shared with up to five family members through Family Sharing. The offer must be activated within three months of setting up a new approved device. Both new and returning customers are eligible, but those who have previously used an Apple TV+ three-month or one-year free promotional offer don’t qualify.
Sign in with your Apple ID from the new device and open the Apple TV app to activate. An offer should pop up immediately after you launch the app. Select confirm and you’re ready to start streaming free for the next three months. Your account will be charged $9.99 after the promotional period ends.
Another way to get Apple TV+ for free is through an Apple One account. This subscription bundles up to six Apple services into one monthly payment, giving members a discount on each separate service.
An Individual plan costs $19.95 a month and comes with Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, 50 GB of storage on iCloud+, and a 30-day free trial. The Family plan includes the same services for $25.95 a month and can be shared with up to five people. And for $37.95 a month, the Premier plan adds on Apple Fitness+ and Apple News+.
Apple Music Student accounts also come with a free subscription to Apple TV+.
Additionally, Best Buy is now letting customers add three months of free Apple TV+ to their shopping carts without purchasing anything. Roku also is giving away free months of Apple TV+ when users add the channel to their device.
Those with a T-Mobile Go5G or Sprint MAX plan can sign up through their provider for free months of Apple TV+. T-Mobile’s Go5G or Go5G Plus members can stream the service free for as long as they have an active account. Standard Go5G users qualify for six free months. Sprint Max customers are eligible for twelve months, while Sprint ONE members can get six months.
