Country music superstar group Little Big Town is set to host the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards which will be held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The inaugural event is noted for being “an award show for the people and by the people,” and will honor the most popular country artists. The quartet from Little Big Town will host the ceremony that features nominees from 13 categories.
Country music superstar Morgan Wallen leads all nominees with 11 nominations, with Luke Combs trailing in second with eight. Other key highlights of the inaugural event include two Special Awards: Toby Keith will receive the Country Icon Award which, will be presented by Blake Shelton and Wynonna Judd will receive the Country Champion Award, which will be presented by Brothers Oborne.
Many notable names will be in attendance in Nashville as presenters and performers. Notable presenters include Dustin Lynch, Hunter Hayes, Jessie James Decker, Kristin Cavallari, Lady A and Mickey Guyton. Shelton, Little Big Town, Keith, and Wynonna are just a few of the biggest names in the industry who will also perform on stage at the Grand Ole Opry House.
