The Southeastern Conference will be on full display when two top-25 teams square off on the hardwood tonight. The 11-2 Kentucky Wildcats will travel to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center to take on the 12-1 LSU Wildcats in an explosive SEC matchup.

The Wildcats are currently on a 4-game win streak and head coach John Calipari is looking to lead his team back to SEC glory. They’re currently in first place in the SEC after opening the season with a loss to Duke. They’ve only lost one game since, which was to Notre Dame back in December. They’re undefeated in conference play after beating Missouri 83-56 on December 29. Junior forward Oscar Tshiebwe has had a breakout season by leading the team in points and/or rebounds in 7 of their 13 games.

Unlike the Wildcats, the Tigers are 0-1 in conference play and are coming off of a 70-55 loss at Auburn. LSU hasn’t played many tough opponents so far this season, but tonight’s game will test how they respond to adversity. This will be their second SEC game of the season, and outside of a game against TCU, the rest of their games will be against conference foes.

Tonight’s game in Baton Rouge is expected to be one of the best games of the season and the Pete Maravich Assembly Center can hold over 13,000 fans cheering their favorite feline team. Cord cutters can find out how to watch Kentucky vs. LSU below.
