Are you streaming a show or sporting event on Fubo but it keeps buffering causing it to stop playing? You may be tempted to blame Fubo but the truth is, it is probably your Wi-Fi that is causing the issue. Your internet may be fast but a weak Wi-Fi signal can still cause buffering on your favorite streaming services.

So we are going to help you fix a few common issues with your Wi-Fi network in order to help give you the best streaming experience possible.

#1 Restart Your Modem & Router

Ok this one may seem simple but just like every electronic device it’s best to every now and then restart your modem and router. Just unplugging them for 30 seconds and plugging them back in can fix many issues causing buffering on Hulu.

#2 Move Your Router

There are a lot of things that can be blocking your Wi-Fi signal, including appliances like refrigerators and even the TV itself. Try moving your Wi-Fi router to a spot closer to your TV for better Wi-Fi signal.

The closer you are, the stronger the Wi-Fi will be to help avoid buffering.

#3 Buy a New Router

Ok if the first two options didn’t help, it may be time to get a new router and maybe a new mesh router to help remove weak Wi-Fi.

In the last few years, Wi-Fi routers have greatly improved, especially when it comes to handling multiple devices at the same time. Not that long ago you probably only had a few laptops, tablets, and phones running on your Wi-Fi network. Now it is likely many more as you have streaming players, smart home devices like Amazon Echo speakers, thermostats, doorbells, and more all attached to your Wi-Fi network.

According to Netgear, having too many devices connected to older Wi-Fi devices can cause slower Wi-Fi speeds. Newer Wi-Fi standards are made to handle more devices without losing speeds.

Here are a few devices we recommend you look into.
