Now that more cord cutters have the option of using YouTube TV to stream live TV, let’s take a look at how you can cut the cord using this streaming service.

What is YouTube TV?

YouTube TV is a subscription streaming service with live TV channels from major broadcast and cable networks. With a  monthly subscription, you’ll get live sports, breaking news, and must see TV in real time.

YouTube TV will cost you $49.99/month. The streaming service only has one plan available and before starting your monthly subscription, you can try it out with a 5-day free trial.

What Channels Will I Get?

YouTube TV has a good selection of major channels for watching sports, news, movies, and entertainment. Keep an eye out for PBS and PBS Kids which will be coming to YouTube TV on November 4th.

Can I Record Content?

Yes. Your YouTube TV subscription includes unlimited cloud DVR storage space so you can record your favorites, and stream them wherever you go.

Can I Watch on Multiple Devices?

YouTube TV allows you to stream simultaneously on up to 3 devices.

What About Individual Profiles?

You can set up 6 separate profiles with each YouTube TV account. Sadly though you are still limited to 3 total simultaneous streams no matter how many profiles you have.
