Now that TiVo has officially launched its Stream 4K, it’s a good time to compare this new entry to some of the more established streaming devices on the market today. And with an intro price of $49.99 (before bumping up to $69.99 later), TiVo’s slotting its new device up against some well-known players like the Roku Streaming Stick+ and Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K. We’ll have to wait until we get our hands on the new device to see how it truly stacks up, but for now: Here’s how the TiVo Stream 4K’s specs compare to its competition.

Again, we’ll have a clearer picture of just how well the Stream 4K fares against the competition once we get some hands-on time. For now, though, TiVo’s hardware seems to match up fairly well against its current competition. Stay tuned, of course, as this is just the start of the fight for streaming’s newest competitor.
