Do you like free movies, TV shows, music, audio books, ebooks, and more? hoopla has all of that and more for free, and it’s all part of your free library membership.
hoopla digital teams up with local libraries to offer free streaming for members of more than 1,600 public library systems across North America. Public libraries are a great resource for cord cutters—not only for free DVD rentals but now also for streaming.
“hoopla is devoted to giving patrons the titles they want and the technology to support it—hoopla’s ‘Action View’ technology allows for panel-by-panel, immersive reading of comic books, hoopla’s ‘Kid’s Mode’ allows families to filter and access kid-friendly titles anytime—now, patrons will be able to stream their favorite movies and TV shows, like our recently released titles from Viacom, straight to their TV,” said a hoopla representative in a statement sent to Cord Cutters News.
So how do you get access to hoopla? You need a library membership. If you want to stream the great library of content, contact your local library and find out if they offer hoopla. Chances are they do have a free streaming service for members.
If you are a cord cutter, make sure to take advantage of your local library. You are paying for it with your taxes so why not take advantage of the services?
