The HBO original series The Gilded Age has been renewed for a fourth season, the company announced Monday.
The American Gilded Age was a time of immense economic and social change. The series begins with Marian Brook moving from rural Pennsylvania to New York City to live with her aunts, following the death of her father. Marian and others in the city navigate the feud between old money and new money, as traditions and rules of society are challenged.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the undeniable viewership heights The Gilded Age has achieved this season,” said Francesca Orsi, EVP, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films. “Transporting us to 1880s New York City, Julian Fellowes and the enormously talented cast and crew have created a “cant-miss it” entertainment experience from week to week, and we’re delighted to continue exploring these characters’ grand ambitions for what we promise will be a thrilling fourth season.”
The season three finale of The Gilded Age will air on Sunday, August 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. All current episodes are available to stream on HBO Max.
