HBO Shows Are Coming to TNT & TBS

Recently Warner Bros. Discovery has been exploring new ways to use HBO programming. Earlier this month, they struck a deal with Roku and Tubi to offer some HBO content along with other Warner Bros. Discovery programming for free on their ad-supported services. Now they are going to try and offer some HBO programs on TBS and TNT.

According to a report from Variety, Warner Bros. Discovery will offer edited versions of Silicon Valley on TBS and True Blood on TNT.

This move is reportedly part of a larger test to see if older HBO programs used to fill the schedules for other networks. Recently the last original new program for TNT came to an end, leaving TNT without any new original programs.

If this moves goes well, look for Warner Bros. Discovery to try and use other older HBO programs on TNT and TBS. Though don’t look for new programs from HBO to be coming to TNT or TBS anytime soon.
