WarnerMedia has made a deal with Ellen Degeneres to bring a set of original series to HBO Max.

In partnership with Ellen’s A Very Good Production, HBO Max will be bringing four series to the streaming platform. Ellen’s Home Design Challenge First Dates Hotel, Little Ellen, and Finding Einstein, a docuseries.

Ellen’s Design Challenge will be a home design competition show in which eight designers tackle creative projects. Degeneres will provide commentary as the designers work.

First Dates Hotel is based on the UK reality matchmaking series. Set in a boutique hotel, the series pairs up couples for blind dates that are sometimes fun, sometimes disastrous, and always entertaining.

Little Ellen is an animated series for kids. The 7 year old character goes on adventures around New Orleans, exploring the musical city.

Finding Einstein is a docuseries, currently in development, searching out the next generation of changemakers from around the world.

“Ellen is a singular talent, and a powerhouse, creative triple-threat that we are lucky to have now bringing her talents to bear on behalf of HBO Max,” said Kevin Reilly, Chief Content Officer, HBO Max and president, TNT, TBS, and truTV. “Ellen’s flair for home design and matchmaking will most certainly inspire and delight – but HBO Max is full service, so as not to leave the kids out she’s bringing them back to the hilarious misadventures of her childhood in an imaginative animated series.”

Ellen announced the partnership on her daytime talk show, before giving a 2 year subscription to HBO Max to everyone in the studio audience.

“I’m very excited to bring my new shows to HBO Max,” Degeneres told her audience, “I don’t know who Max is, but I can’t wait to work with him.”
